Raylene Hill is the founder of Ireland-Hill Therapy, where Eastern medicine and Western clinical assessment meet in a refined, therapeutic approach to bodywork. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, she is both a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and Registered Acupuncturist (RAc), bringing depth, precision, and integration to every treatment.
Her work is grounded in a blend of Japanese non-insertion acupuncture and Swedish massage, forming the therapeutic base of many of her massage therapy sessions. She integrates Western orthopedic and postural assessment to verify and refine her Eastern acupuncture diagnoses, ensuring treatments are both energetically aligned and anatomically sound. This dual-lens methodology allows her to treat the root cause while addressing structural and functional patterns in the body.
Raylene further enhances outcomes with body alignment techniques such as Sotai and Cranial Sacral Therapy, seamlessly incorporating them into both acupuncture and massage treatments. Her background includes a Physio Assistant diploma, as well as certifications in Personal Training and Yoga Instruction — disciplines that inform her understanding of biomechanics, rehabilitation, and long-term functional strength.
She believes the body has an inherent capacity to heal. Her role is to facilitate that process by reducing restriction, restoring balance, and supporting proper alignment. While treatments are deeply relaxing, they are clinically focused. For acute or chronic issues, she recommends a series of treatments scheduled closer together to create therapeutic momentum and measurable results. Once stability is achieved, maintenance care helps preserve alignment, prevent recurrence, and support ongoing vitality.
Raylene’s approach is both restorative and results-driven — a thoughtful fusion of Eastern wisdom and Western science designed to help the body return to its optimal state.
I love helping people discover their natural self-healing abilities. I know you can thrive and find greater wholeness through treatments that address and integrate body, mind and emotions. My own journey toward wholeness began with a life threatening auto-immune illness which forced me to address stress management and to explore the healing arts. Zen Shiatsu and Acupuncture are my core practices, and I have extensive training in Thai Massage and Reflexology. I also find Breathwork and the Chakra model from Yoga very useful, and am currently studying to include Registered Massage Therapy in late 2021. I compliment the work I do with Meditation, Qi Gong, Surfing, Rock Climbing, and Travelling with my partner Raylene Hill.
